Steam Threshing Days - August 26th and 27th, 2006

The Scott Museum, Uxbridge, Ontario

The Incorporated Militia of Upper Canada turned the grounds of the Scott Museum into a village and battleground from from 1812 for the Steam Threshing Days in Uxbridge. Along with three tactical military demonstrations each day by the men, spectators learned ways of life from that time including how bread was made from wheat and corn, and how to make fire without lighters or matches.
