Battle of Ogdensburgh - June 18th & 19th, 2007
Ogdensburgh, New York
On the weekend of February 17 & 18, four members of the Incorporated Militia of Upper Canada participated in the Battle of Ogdensburgh in Ogdensburgh New York. Privates Brown, Andersen and Turner accompanied Sergeant Woods. This commemorates the Feb. 23, 1813 attack of the British from the Prescott area. The St. Lawrence had frozen over allowing the British to cross to the US side. This winter's cold and snow added to the realism of the background scenery.
The members of IMUC would again like to thank Forsythe's Rifles, for again hosting this event. We look forward to joining them again next year.
