November 2010

Remembrance Day 2010

The Incorporated Militia once again participated in two Remembrance Day Ceremonies this year. The first occurred in Bradford Ontario and was sponsored by the local Legion Branch. On November 11, members of the regiment who were available, attended the Remembrance Day Ceremony sponsored by Old Fort York in Toronto. The Fort York Remembrance Day Ceremony was also attended by the IODE, WW 1 re-enactors, members of the Canadian Forces based at Fort York, Toronto Police, Toronto EMS, Toronto Firefighters and Fort York Staff and Volunteers. Several hundred civilians were also able to attend.
