The Battle of Longwoods - May 6th & 7th, 2006

Delaware, Ontario

On May 6th & 7th, 2006, the Incorporated Militia of Upper Canada participated in the Battle of Longwoods, just outside London Ontario near the town of Delaware. The Longwoods Conservation Area is just a short distance from the original battlefield. Mark Dickerson and the Royal Scots of the Upper Thames Military Reenactment Society did a great job of hosting this event.Their hard work and enthusiasm made the Battle of Longwoods the success that it was.
