July 2009
July 1, 2009 - Canada Day Downsview Park, Toronto
Once again the Incorporated Militia spent Canada Day at Downsview Park. This year saw a citizenship court as well for the swearing in of a new set of New Canadians. Local MP Ken Dryden also stopped by to lend his support to the day. We spent most of the day introducing Canada's latest citizens to an important part of our country's history.

July 11 - 12 Grand Tactical, Battle of Crysler's Farm - Morrisburg Ontario
Each year the Crown Forces deems one event as the Grand Tactical for the season. The different regiments make a full effort to support this event. This year the Grand Tactical was held at Crysler's Farm. Despite the weather this well supported event was a great success. The Friends of Crysler's Farm again pulled off a great one.

July 25 - 26 Wasaga Under Siege - Wasaga Beach Ontario
The Incorporated Militia of Upper Canada braved the rain and the damp to again participate in the commemoration of the sinking of the Nancy by the Americans in the Notawasaga River. We would like to thank Dave Brunelle and all the staff and volunteers at Nancy Island for a superbly run event.
