June 12th and 13th, 2004 - Georgina

Lake Simcoe Heritage Faire and Militia Muster

On the weekend of June 12 - 14, the Incorporated Militia of Upper Canada were invited by the Norfolk Militia to participate in a military muster at the Georgina Pioneer Village, near Keswick Ontario. IMUC and the Campfollowers, along with members of several other re-enactment groups, participated in the many site activities. These included a skirmish in the brush and two battles in the village. This well run, friendly event, was immensely enjoyed by all the members of the the Incorporated Militia. Special thanks goes out to Bruce Whitaker of the Norfolk Militia and his many helpers and supporters organizing the muster. We look forward to many more Georgina musters in the years to come.
