November 11th, 2005 - Fort York, Toronto
Remembrance Day
On Remembrance Day, November 11, 2005, the Incorporated Militia were part of Fort York's Remembrance Day Tribute to those that fell in the great wars, including; the War of 1812, the Boar War, World War 1, World War II, The Korean War and the many peace keeping missions. The Ceremony was sponsored by IODE and included World War I reenactors, Toronto Firefighters, Canadian Veterans, Canadian Servicemen and women as well as the Fort Staff and musicians. Wreaths were laid by each of the groups as a squadron of 1941 Harvard AT6 trainers flew overhead. About 450 people were in attendance.
