On the weekend of August 12 to 14 we were invited to set up camp and participate in tactical demonstrations at the South River Arts Festival. Our camp, our unit and our campfollowers added a sense of history to this local endeavour. South River is located just outside North Bay and our presence was very much appreciated by the local residents. Many of the visitors to the festival and to our camp spent a long time inquiring as to who we were and what we did. We brought a real feeling of Canadiana to the town.
