It must be spring, if it is time for the Battle Of Longwoods!
May 5, 6 and 7 saw the Incorporated Militia set up camp at the Longwoods Conservation Area outside of Delaware Ontario, for the re-enactment of the Battle of Longwoods.
British and American forces clashed four times during the weekend. The first skirmish, on Saturday morning saw British units pursuing the Americans through the rough areas at the fringe of the property.
Saturday and Sunday saw the British go into column and be decimated by the Americans holding the higher ground.
Our Incorporated Militia camp is always a very active spot for everyone!
